Movie Nite review and photos

Batman shattered box-office record...and what a night it was for the 93 people who joined the UMAA movie night.

Everyone was punctual in collecting their tickets at GSC Pavillion before 9.30pm. Excitement was abuzz as everyone was in jovial note, networking with fellow alumni and friends.

Hmmm....where's my free gift arr??? Bag only meh??

Busy busy at registration table...still got time to pose ???

Ehhh...movie starting la..quick la..

Hands full of popcorn, coke and UMAA mystery gift...everyone headed into the GSC 2 hall for the long awaited Batman The Dark Knight to begin at 10pm.

It was worth the wait indeed..such a twisted storyline..with the psychotic Joker's surprising moves..and the melodramatic Batman..and the charmingly handsome Bruce Wayne...viewers were kept entertained til the end of the show at 12.30pm.

Thumbs up for Batman ;) Definitely movie of the year!

UMAA Movie nite tickets - SOLD OUT!

Please note that all Movie Nite tickets for The Dark Knight are SOLD OUT !!

To those who have purchased and paid their tickets, we will send out the e-tickets and final details of the movie night later today.

There will be no sales at the door. Any payment received after the notice sent out will be refunded.

Pavilion parking info for Dark Knight - Movie Nite

If you are planning to drive for the movie nite, the parking rates on Fridays are as follows at Pavillion Parking:

After 5 pm
1st hour = RM3
Subsequent 1/2 hours = RM1
Max Price = RM5


Therefore, the max amount you will need to pay is RM5, which is among the cheapest around the Bukit Bintang area.

Please note:
- Since movie will be finishing late, you may want to consider parking at Zone E in the Pavillion and then take a lift straight up to the cinema at level 5.

The Dark Knight

Batman - The Dark Knight is scheduled to open in Malaysia on Thursday, 17th July.

All UMAA members and Uni of Melbourne Graduates will have a chance to watch the movie at discounted prices on the 2nd day of the opening [Fri, 18th July] at GSC Pavillion, KL.

Those who have secured their tickets..great job!!
Coz we at UMAA were told tickets, for Dark Knight this week, it is virtually impossible to get tix unless you have connections /special pass.
