Hunteroos 2009 is back !!!

AEI Malaysia with support from the Malaysian Australian Alumni Council (MAAC), is pleased to inform you that the Australian Alumni Hunteroos 2009 will be held on Saturday, 25 April.

After two successive walk-hunts, the 2009 event will see Australian alumni participate in a drive-hunt!
This year, the event is part of the Australian High Commission’s Australia Month celebration, featuring a series of Australian themed events in the whole month of April. For a calendar of the Australia Month events, please visit www.australia.org.my.

The drive-hunt will start from the Kuala Lumpur city centre and will finish at Equine Park, Seri Kembangan where a tri-series Australian Rules football competition between the Malaysian Warriors, Singapore Wombats and Australian Army will also be held.

A team of two to four Australian alumni in each car will journey their way to the end of the hunt collecting clues from various challenging mind and physical pit stops along the way.

The cost to participate in this hunt is RM300 per team and this includes participation in the hunt, a specially designed t-shirt, breakfast and an Australian BBQ lunch.

In addition, participants and their family can watch the tri-series Australian Rules Football competition and other fun activities that will be organised for children.

An Auskick Australian Rules Football clinic will also be held for girls and boys aged 5-14 years old. The clinic provides a fantastic opportunity for your children to participate in a fun sporting activity with other Australian children. To help coordinate this event successfully, we would need an estimate of the number of children who are keen to participate. So, please include the number of children and their ages when you register.

We encourage members to participate in Hunteroos 2009 race. As usual, there are great prizes to be won!
