Professor Glyn Davis AC

Glyn Davis is Professor of Political Science and Vice-Chancellor and Principal of the University of Melbourne. Professor Davis was educated in political science at the University of New South Wales and the Australian National University, before undertaking post-doctoral appointments as a Harkness Fellow at the University of California Berkeley, the Brookings Institution in Washington DC and the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. Professor Davis teaches and researches in the field of public policy. 
His public-sector service includes terms as the Director-General of the Department of Premier and Cabinet in Queensland, and as Foundation Chair of the Australia and New Zealand School of Government. He is a Fellow of the Academy of the Social Sciences in Australia and a Companion in the Order of Australia, and has served as Chair of the Group of Eight and Chair of Universities Australia. He is a recognised authority on Australian public policy and his latest book – ‘The Australian idea of a University’ – was published in 2017. Professor Davis has been elected a Visiting Fellow at the Blatavnik School of Government and a Visiting Fellow at Exeter College, University of Oxford from 2018.

Senior Research Fellow, Centre for Workplace Leadership, Faculty of Business and Economics. 
Dr Healy's Research interests are in employment relations, applied economics, and the future of work. His recent publications deal with the gig economy, the ageing workforce, and the consequences of skills shortages. His studies include how new technologies are reshaping the Australian labour market, and profiles of the aged and disability care workers. 
Dr Dan Woodman

TR Ashworth Associate Professor of Sociology and Assistant Dean for Advancement and Engagement in the Faculty of Arts. 
Dr Woodman is President of The Australian Sociological Association and Vice President for Oceania in the Research Committee on the Sociology of Youth within the International Sociological Association. Dan's primary research area is the sociology of young adulthood and generations, and he uses this focus to also contribute to the sociology of work and to sociological theory.
