Dear Alumni Members
It is with great sadness that we share that Ang Hean Leng, UMAA President (2017-2019), has passed away on 22 December 2019.
We take this opportunity to record Hean Leng's contribution to the Association since joining UMAA as committee member in 2011. His commitment and passion to serve, and his relentless drive to connect and build a strong alumni community has been a hallmark across his two terms as UMAA President.
Despite his illness, Hean Leng continued to play an active role in building up UMAA, and was instrumental in laying a solid foundation for UMAA's 30th Anniversary celebration. His generosity in giving to his alma mater and to the association has left a deep impact, and he will be sorely missed.
Should any alumni wish to pay respects, details of the wake are as follows:
Venue:
3, Jalan Tijani 1/B, Taman Tijani Ukay, Ampang 68000 Selangor
Prayers will be held on 22 and 23 December evening
Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday 24 December, 9.30am
Our deepest sympathy and condolences to his wife, Wai Sum, children and family.
May Hean Leng rest in eternal peace.
